Blind Installer - is responsible for installing in home blinds, including aluminum, wood, and shades.
Measures windows and installs blinds for residential customers
Responsible for loading and logging materials onto truck and makes notation of returned materials per each job order
Provides good customer service skills and address any questions per the customer
Erects ladders to height needed to install blinds as needed in the home
Observe job site safety rules and know the location of the MSDS packets in your vehicle
Responsible to comply with OSHA guidelines and Company Safety policies and procedures
Maintain tools and truck housekeeping, and maintenance
Responsible for completing time card daily and ensuring it is submitted on time
May be required to drive a company vehicle and follow all driving safety rules and DOT requirements at all times
Responsible for completing paperwork per each job and returning to production coordinator daily
Other duties as assigned
High School diploma or GED preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
0-5 years' experience in construction industry, completing remodels or finish work with in a home
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools, including tape measure, laser level, and drill
Able to climb up and down a ladder
Excellent attention to detail
Able to perform basic math skills and read a tape measure
Excellent customer service skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Able to work independently and or with a crew
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must have a valid driver's license to drive a company vehicle
Position requires a Drug Test and Motor Vehicle Report and Background Check (if applicable) to be completed, contingent upon employment.
Physical Demands
Must be able to read job instructions and record materials to work order.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Must be able to climb ladders.
Must be able to bend, twist and turn body at shoulders, waist and knees to handle and install blinds.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Work Environment
Works within a residential home or new construction environment; able to adapt to weather conditions.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
