Healthcare Connection Specialists (North Fort Myers)

The phone operator/scheduler answers multi-line phone system while providing superior response to all callers. Answers calls in a friendly voice identifying themselves and the company, makes appointments, transfers calls, pages overhead, gives directions to the office, inputs new patient information or existing patient changes, communicates with billing office for insurance changes. The phone operator/scheduler makes every effort to fill schedules of physicians and if desired physician is unavailable offers (sells) another physician in the practice to the patient. May work at check-in / out and/or process medical record requests from specialists after cross-training is complete as needed. All other duties as assigned.
Job Standards:
Provides quality service and support
No new patient documentation errors
Phones are answered in a timely manner
Sells another physician when one is unavailable to patient
Understands the utilization and complexity of transferring multi-line phone systems
Fills schedules
A minimum of 6 months of call center experience is required and training is provided

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
